Hi there!

My name is Joshua Lazenby, and I’ve been passionate about photography ever since I got hired as a newspaper photographer for a university in my undergrad. I was able to capture great moments in sports, cultural events, fashion shows, and more. My first year working for the newspaper, I was awarded Best Photographer. As my passion grew, so did my ambitions. I was ready to venture out, capturing moments outside of the university newspaper. My ambition motivated me to save money, and I purchased my own equipment. As I entered this new arena of possibilities, JourneyWay Photography began.

 

Since the start of JourneyWay Photography in 2016, I have been capturing moments in weddings, graduations, birthdays, and family photos. Within every shoot, I work to create an equally great and comfortable experience, so you not only get the shots you want, but also create a gallery of memories you won’t forget.

 

I have also began to photograph landscape and street/city photography, where I’ve traveled all across Indiana and Illinois with my camera in tow. I love to capture photos of the city that everyone has lived in, but show it in a unique way from a different point of view. I’m not your regular sunset photographer, but a photographer who loves to see the beauty in everything this world has to share.

 

As I continue my photography journey, my goal is to capture memorable events like a band's gig, the day of a wedding, or portraits for a soon-to-be graduate. I also want to help frame moments of you with your family before your kids are grown. I want to capture those frames and as many moments to show the experiences of not just any life, but the life of you and yours.
